And We’re Back

April 21st, 2010

Our friends at Ning have decided to eliminate the free service starting on May 4th, 2010. Read more over at the Ning blog.

As such, we will be removing Ning’s services from Livephish and going back to hosting all of the content locally. Welcome back!

Welcome Back to Livephish.org

May 3rd, 2005

We have moved to a new server and upgraded our phpBB2 installation to 2.14. Enjoy.

Photos!

June 6th, 2003

Well, you asked for it, so we delivered. Check out the new Livephish Photo Gallery! If you have a photo you’d like to add, or you’d like to change a caption or filename, email your request (and the photo) to webmaster@livephish.org. We’ll process changes periodically, so your change may not happen immediately. Enjoy!

Done

June 24th, 2002

Livephish.org now points to this server. If you still want to use the old message boards from the old server, they are available at http://phorum.livephish.org. Please send me email if you have any problems accessing the new server or message boards.

Making the Switch

June 24th, 2002

I am now making the necessary changes to turn this site into the actual Livephish website. I’ll post again when the changes are completed.

Preparing the Switch

June 24th, 2002

Well, I’m almost ready to switch over from the old server to this one. There’s just a few more things to do. The switch should happen at some point today. I’ll be sure and announce it in the message boards before it happens.

Welcome to the new Livephish

June 24th, 2002

Livephish is going through some changes.

This site (currently “beta”) is hosted on an entirely different server than the old site. It’s bigger, faster, stronger. It lives in a better data center with a much faster pipe. Things should be a lot better than before.

Additionaly, the software used to run the message boards on the site has been replaced. We used to use Phorum and have now moved to phpBB, which has a lot of advanced features. Those some people haven’t yet adjusted to the new look, feel and functionality, most Livephishers have really taken to it.

Welcome, and Rock Safely.
